Due to continued success and growth, we have an opportunity for the role of Director of Brand and Digital Marketing to join our experienced team.

The position will:

  • Develop and deliver marketing plans and programs for Shorla Oncology’s portfolio of branded oncology products.
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing programs for key healthcare stakeholders across multiple channels.
  • Collaborate to provide a commercial marketing perspective on clinical, medical affairs and market access initiatives. 
  • Manager and partner with key external agencies.
  • Lead implementation of brand/launch strategies through development of effective promotional materials for key customer segments and across multiple channels.
  • Lead critical cross functional workstreams to support launch readiness and success.
  • Grow, develop and lead the future marketing team.

The successful candidate will have preferably 10 years’ relevant experience, no less than 8 within the pharmaceutical industry and of which at least 3 years are in a leadership role.

The Director of Brand and Digital Marketing will hold a BA/BS degree. A Masters degree or MBA is desirable. Professional English language and strong communication skills are essential. Experience marketing branded buy and bill, hospital, and outpatient speciality products is required.

Job Description

The EVERSANA/Shorla Oncology Sales Representative will achieve territory sales goals by promoting our Shorla Oncology’s new products to physicians as well as other medical personnel within their assigned geography. The Representative will educate pharmacists, prescribers, and office staff on the use, characteristics, advantages, indicated treatments, and all other developments related to promoted products. The Representative will professionally represent Shorla Oncology in the field and ensure high levels of visibility and customer satisfaction in the territory. The Representative will maintain effective communication and relationships with key external and internal customers.  This position is responsible for achieving both territory product sales goals and territory sales activity goals through company defined metrics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams.  These results are achieved by:

  • Meet or Exceed territory product sales goals while adhering to ethical sales practices, compliance guidelines, and required promotional regulations
  • Effectively promote and educate targeted pharmacists, clinical decision makers (i.e. physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners, nurses and staff on the use of Shorla Oncology’s products through one-on-one meetings and group presentations, company-approved promotional speaker programs, and other company-approved means.
  • Work 5 days in the field each week, supported by office time as needed for call planning, customer follow-up, preparing presentations, making appointments, report generation, etc.
  • Ensure high performance levels of call and field productivity.
  • Meet call plan expectations and achieve territory product sales goals while adhering to ethical sales practices, compliance guidelines, and required promotional regulations
  • Execute company-approved product marketing plans and territory/regional business plan activities
  • Support targeted customers using company-approved resources, sales materials, and promotional activities/programs/ initiatives as identified by sales management
  • Ensure territory sales strategy execution with an ownership mindset, using a territory business plan
  • Accurately report/submit sales call activities, territory expenses and written reports in a timely function and within deadlines defined by leadership
  • Attend all company-sponsored sales and medical meetings as directed by sales leadership
  • Balance territory and regional work and projects while maintaining a solid level of sales performance
  • Maintain a positive and collaborative culture that aligns with the overall organization
  • Exhibit solid level of skill in competencies
  • Demonstrate sales influence within territory
  • Travel as needed throughout the territory (to include overnights) to see targeted customers as required by call plan  
  • Travel up to 75% may be required

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited College or University is required
  • 2 + years of current specialty sales experience in related pharmaceutical/med device/ medical diagnostics markets. Experience in specialty or rare disease markets including rheumatology, gastroenterology, dermatology, oncology or related market(s)  
  • Knowledge of specialty reimbursement environment
  • Demonstrated expertise working in large group practices to drive product awareness and utilization.
  • Specialty product launch experience preferred
  • Desire to work in a fast moving and evolving start-up environment
  • Ability to learn, comprehend and apply medical, scientific, and commercial information to drive increased product utilization among assigned customers
  • Strong sales aptitude and selling related experience through education and/or work experience
  • Documented record of sales success from previously held positions
  • Solid communication, facilitation and presentation skills
  • Proactive; can do approach

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $115,000 to $130,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S.  The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position.  Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living).  EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.

Due to continued success and growth, we have an opportunity for the role of Marketing Operations Specialist to join our experienced team.

The position will:

  • Support and facilitate Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) committee review and approval of, as well as production and distribution of, advertising and promotional materials (both branded and un-branded), manage conference/congress sponsorships and attendance, and launch planning.
  • Coordinate MLR submissions for internally developed advertidng and promotional materials.
  • Build, monitor and maintain launch roadmaps for launch products, monitor launch timelines and identify roadblocks.
  • Support commercial readiness assessments including gathering and synthesizing stakeholder feedback on risks and mitigation.
  • Track advertising and promotional materials from inception through approval and expiration and re-review/approval (as relevant), maintaining appropriate systems and documentation files, and coordinating any associated regulatory submissions.
  • Provide guidance to advertising and promotional material sponsors on submission of high quality and compliant work.
  • Support and communicate with agency partners and vendors to execute projects.
  • Proofread and validate reviewer required changes in the MLR review system.
  • Maintain and update the calendar of relevant conferences, reviewing prospectuses to identify necessary materials and requirements for each event.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to plan exhibits, conference attendance and sponsorship logistics and coordinate post meeting feedback sessions to gather insights and improve future processes.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, communications, marketing, business or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with the promotional review process within the pharmaceutical industry.

The position will:

  • Have oversight of thought leadership and value story, and publication strategy to support Shorla Oncology’s current portfolio and pipeline assets
  • Oversee HEOR /Value and evidence generation through approaches such as literature searches, RWD analysis, economic modelling, and Phase IV studies to ensure clinical and economic value of Shorla Oncology’s products can be communicated to key healthcare stakeholders in the U.S.
  • Lead KOL identification and engagement and support of market access customer presentations.
  • Develop and oversee development of dossiers and scientific exchange materials for use with market access customers.
  • Contribute to the design, development and implementation of training materials to educate the sales force.
  • Select, oversee and manage outsourced medical information call center team. Respond to medical product inquiries and provide medical support and to ensure the safe and appropriate use of Shorla Oncology’s products assuring public health-oriented responses and to assure the key medical messages are consistent and accurate throughout the company.
  • Generate medical information communication content and support training on medical information materials.
  • Assist in the analysis and dissemination of reports generated from calls and contacts, so that issues, patterns and trends in the incoming contacts are identified and shared with key internal stakeholders.
  • Safeguard patient safety through risk management activities and safety surveillance activities. Collaborate with regulatory, operations and quality teams to ensure adverse events and product complaints are managed efficiently and compliantly.

The successful candidate will

  • Be a qualified healthcare professional (PharmD, MD, PhD). Residency or additional post doctorate experience is preferred.
  • Have preferably 10 years’ experience but no less than 8 in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical industry, of which at least 3 years are in a leadership role.
  • Have Substantial understanding of oncology.
  • Have strong knowledge of FDA regulations regarding drug promotion, the dissemination of medical and product information.
  • Reflect the highest ethical standards in decision making and in their day-to-day activities.
  • Prior launch experience is preferred.
