Shorla Oncology were honoured to be awarded the title of Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur 2019 beating competition from 1,600 applicants, accepted by Co-founder Sharon Cunningham. This prestigious and coveted award was announced at a ceremony in Google’s European Headquarters, Dublin and presented by Minister Heather Humphries. The highly competitive programme is run by the network of Local Enterprise Offices (LEO’s) and funded by the Government of Ireland and supported by the Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation and Enterprise Ireland. The award recognises the significant milestones and successes of the company to date and the potential of the company in to the future. Shorla would like to extend their congratulations to all of the other finalists and category winners and to express our thanks to Local Enterprise Office Tipperary for their support throughout the competition.
